Delivery Agent / Letter Carrier Jobs — Canada Post 2026

About the Role

Canada Post, one of the largest employers in the country with over 60,000 employees, is hiring Delivery Agents (also known as Letter Carriers) at locations across Canada. As a delivery agent, you are the face of Canada Post in your community: you start your day at the depot sorting and preparing deliveries, load a Canada Post vehicle, then spend most of the day outdoors delivering mail and parcels on foot or by vehicle, and return to the depot to unload incoming mail for later delivery.

Requirements

• A valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
• The physical ability to lift mail items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and to be available on call
• Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
• Customer service experience is an asset
